Local Community Festivals and Events
Over the years, the Center for Aerospace Education has sponsored numerous exhibits and festivities for the local community in Hawai‘i to celebrate aerospace events and promote family participation in an engaging and entertaining atmosphere of learning.
Teacher / Parent Workshops
Scores of teacher workshops, as well as parent workshops, have also been conducted to promote teacher professional development in science with a concentration on aerospace science.
International Activities
The CAE has also engaged in numerous international workshops, lectures and consultation work. Among the latter, the CAE Direction served as the Technical Officer for the design of the planetarium at UH Hilo's 'Imiloa Astronomy Center. He also lectured at WCC's sister campus Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarang in New Zealand and served as their consultant for drawing up the design of their proposed planetarium-science center in Whakatane, Aotearoa.
